Ratna,
Noted that you go out of office before lunch time without my permission today. In future, pls get my permission first before going out of office in working hours. Take this as the 1st warning, don’t let this happen again.
Rgds,
(Yah, seperti seorang penyair pernah berkata: into each life some rain must fall, hidup tentu saja bukan sekedar bekerja dengan tenang sambil mendengarkan musik, lalu sepulangnya duduk santai sambil minum susu dingin, bersama seorang finger-clicking musician dan seorang violin player, sambil berbincang tentang Kangen Band sampai Dewi Lestari, bak sekumpulan krikitikus handal, lalu pulang ke rumah dan tidur nyenyak, melainkan juga berjuang –tapi belum tentu berhasil–, atau dipermalukan, atau mengambil keputusan yang salah. Yah, namanya juga hidup –tapi menangis tentu saja juga wajar.)

HATI
Ah, hati, tetap saja hati.
Walau telah banyak diterangi, tetap saja suram kala rindu menghampiri.
Walau telah berhenti disirami, tetap saja hidup tak jua mati.

PEOPLE ARE STRANGE
Mulai dari orang-orang sekeliling, sampai mbak-mbak penjaga Hey Folks, tiba-tiba bersikap sangat tidak ramah.
Is it just me, or are people really getting strange?
Is it just me, or are people really getting strange?

THE RAINY DAY
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
The day is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the moldering wall,
But at every gust the dead leaves fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.
My life is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
My thoughts still cling to the moldering past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast
And the days are dark and dreary.
Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.
The day is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the moldering wall,
But at every gust the dead leaves fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.
My life is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
My thoughts still cling to the moldering past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast
And the days are dark and dreary.
Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.

IF
Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build’em up with worn-out tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And - which is more - you’ll be a Man, my son!
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,

MY BESTFRIEND IS ENGAGED!
Acaranya diadakan hari minggu kemarin, dan terbatas hanya untuk keluarga inti. Jadi, saya tidak hadir di sana.
Selesai acara, saya telepon dia.
“Lin, is it already there?”
“What?”
“It!”
“Hah? WHAT?”
“IT! is it already on your finger?”
“Oh, YES! Hahaha”
Well, congratulation, dear!
May it stay endlessly on your finger! :)
